After a traumatic breaking of self through trauma or heartbreak something shifts within us. Something inside shatters, followed by panic attacks, paranoia, deep loss, and mourning of what we had or who we were. We watch every aspect of life break down and disintegrate: endless crying, shouting, and cursing the universe.

Then comes the moment when our tears dry up. We are simply tired of crying, like a small child who throws a tantrum when his broken toy is taken away. Eventually, exhaustion sets in. Loud cries soften into sobs, and sobs fade into silence.

In that silence, reflection begins. The child starts to wonder: Was that toy really so important? Why was he so attached? Had the attachment turned toxic? Why did the universe take it away? Was it to show him that he is no less, that nothing inside him is truly lost, even without that toy? Perhaps the toy was no longer a vibrational match. Perhaps, because he is growing, the universe is preparing to gift him something bigger, something better.

With this realization, the pain eases. He begins to see that the old toy had worn out, broken, and stopped working, it was no longer serving him. It was time for it to be discarded so that he could prepare for the new.

This is the void phase. While the child reflects, there is no movement on the outside. His outer reality remains still. He is kept safe in this void, undisturbed, so he may look within and discover his truth.

And when he has rested and understood deeply, when he is finally ready to embrace the new - the universe opens the gates.

From the void, he steps out renewed. He carries the quiet lessons of what was lost, the understanding of what no longer serves him, and the readiness to welcome what’s next. He’s stronger, calmer, and finally aligned with what the universe has in store.
